All photographs of the works were taken by me at the time as part of the activity record.
No alterations were made to the works; each piece is presented exactly as created by the participant.
季節の野菜、根ショウガ。赤い画用紙に三原色で描いていただいたが、まず、根のショウガの部分から描き始めていただき、そのまま上に伸びていく形で筆を進めていただく。紙からはみ出したら画用紙を足して絵を続けていただいた。
三原色の基本的な画法でもある。美しい作品たちだと思う。
Seasonal vegetables: ginger root.
We asked participants to paint using the three primary colours on red drawing paper.
Beginning with the root portion of the ginger, they were instructed to continue the brushstrokes upwards in a growing form.
Should the painting extend beyond the paper, additional sheets were provided to continue the artwork.
This also serves as a fundamental technique for the three primary colours.
I consider these to be beautiful works.
