秋になって落ち葉が風に吹かれて、思わぬ美しさに驚く頃に制作した。落ち葉はどの葉も美しい。拾い集めると、あれもこれもと限りがない。その美しい枯れ葉たち、色も様々だ。黄色も赤も、茶色も微妙に色を変える。
そんな美しい枯れ葉を集めて、皆さんの手元に置いて頂き、秋を満喫していただきながら制作した。
画用紙の背景として、色画用紙を合わせたことで秋がより深くなったと思う。
I created this piece in autumn, when fallen leaves are blown by the wind, surprising us with their unexpected beauty. Every fallen leaf is beautiful. Gathering them up, one finds it impossible to stop, wanting this one and that one. These beautiful withered leaves come in such varied colours. Yellows, reds, browns – each subtly shifting in hue.
I gathered such beautiful withered leaves, hoping you might place them near you and enjoy autumn to the full while I worked.
By combining coloured paper as the background for the drawing paper, I believe it deepens the sense of autumn.
