新緑の季節に、若葉の木を制作して頂く。写生や水彩画では多く描いていることだろう。
今回は、貼り絵で表現して頂いた。そして、この紙は、色紙に加えて、風景のカレンダー写真を使っている。私は美しい風景写真のカレンダーを数年分持っていた。本のカバーによく使っていて断面の色の美しさを知っていた。
皆さんは面白がって、この光沢があるカレンダー写真の好きな部分をちぎって制作に使われていた。
In the season of fresh greenery, we asked participants to create young leaf trees. Many would have painted these from life or in watercolours.
This time, they expressed them through collage. The paper used was coloured paper combined with landscape calendar photographs. I had several years’ worth of beautiful landscape calendar photographs. I often used them for book covers and knew the beauty of their colour cross-sections.
Everyone found it rather fun, tearing off their favourite parts of these glossy calendar photographs to use in their creations.
