クリスマス時期には、クリスマスにふさわしい制作がしたいと思っていたが、果たして９０歳を越えた方々によくわかり、かつ楽しい制作は何だろうと考えた課題は「クリスマスツリー」だった。
予め、緑の木は切りぬいて準備しておいた。そこに、光をイメージさせる丸いシールを貼っていただき、また、金と銀の星も切り抜いて作っておいたので、これも好きな位置に貼っていただく。
一見単純な作業だが、シールを貼る位置にその方の個性がでる。１本として同じクリスマスツリーはない。
During the Christmas season, I wanted to create something fitting for the occasion. The challenge was to devise a project that would be both understandable and enjoyable for those over ninety years old. The solution was a “Christmas Tree”.
I had prepared the green tree shapes in advance by cutting them out. Participants then stuck round stickers onto them to represent lights. I had also cut out gold and silver stars beforehand, which they could place wherever they liked.
Though seemingly a simple task, the placement of the stickers revealed each person’s individuality. No two Christmas trees were alike.
