小さな白い四角いコースター、この素材で制作して頂きたいと思って、テーマを考えた。
寒色と暖色、わかるようでいて認識により色が変わる。制作する初めに、寒色で浮かぶ色、暖色で浮かぶ色をお聞きする。その色を自由に組み合わせて、貼り絵をしていただいた。１枚を几帳面に貼り合わせる方、大胆に色を選ぶ方、小さなコースターが小宇宙になる。
Small white square coasters: I wished to have these crafted from this material, so I devised a theme.
Cool and warm colours—seemingly distinct, yet perceived differently. At the start of creation, I asked which colours evoked cool tones and which evoked warm tones. Participants then freely combined these colours to create collages. Some meticulously assembled each piece, others chose colours boldly; each small coaster became a microcosm.
